☙ Napagod ako basahin yung buong series. Haha Parang ako yung karakter sa libro e. Sa book 1 and 2, talagang mapapatanong ka e. Ano bang nangyayare? Tas magugulat ka sa ending at twist. Hindi mo talaga aasahan.⁣

☙ May mga nakakairitang characters. Tas andaming fillers. lol Favorite ko si Wacky saka si Shem. Hilarious and genius! Nakakatuwa din yung friendship nilang lahat e. Maraming katanungan talaga bago mo marating yung book 3. Tapos nag expect din ako talaga sa book 3 e. Haha⁣

☙ Brutal at mabigat yung plot at storyline. Kaya pakiramdam mo parang mapapagod ka habang binabasa mo siya. Ganda sana ng potential nung buong series e. Pwede nga syang gawing movie tbh. I think, ang best part dito is yung solid friendship nila. Hindi siya horror for me e na tipong matatakot ka talaga. Brutal oo. Tas may mga parts na mayayamot ka at matatawa. lol Pero...⁣

Haha Pwede naman palang ganon yung gawin tapos pinahaba lang. hehe May mga parts ngang nabored na ako e. Basta okay for me ang book 1, yung book 2 ang best ending... Tas yung book 3, muntik na ako sumuko, akala ko di ko matatapos. 🥲⁣

♡ I didn't expect this to be good as others say. Wow! It blew my mind. It captures Japanese culture at its finest. The characters are perfect! Artistry, acting, and development. How they portray it. Authenticity and diversity! It's lyrical and nostalgic. Now I need to go to Kyoto, Japan!

♡ Recently I finished a lot of anime, movies, and manga. But I don't have the energy to post a review. But I couldn't let this opportunity pass to let everyone know that you need to watch this at least once in your lifetime.

♡ It's not just about cooking. It has profound meaning. It's about friendship, family, loss, true love, sacrifice, and acceptance.

♡ This is a live-action adaptation of an anime. I recommend watching the anime first before this.

๑ Anime: Kiyo in Kyoto: From the Maiko House (Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san) ๑⁠

❥⁠ The anime version has a simple premise but has an interesting plot. It's slice-of-life, food, and enjoyable! I like the simplicity of the story. It's whimsical too. It didn't focus on friendship, there's insight about Maiko's life and how home-cooked meals can uplift anyone's spirit. The food aesthetic is on point. I love it!
