WISTORIA: WAND & SWORD - Season 2

When the Sword Shines Brighter Than Ever ๐Ÿช„๐Ÿ—ก️

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

๐Ÿ“บ I decided to rewatch a recap of Season 1 before starting Season 2, and it was absolutely worth it. There were so many details I had forgotten, and having everything fresh in my mind made me appreciate the second season even more. This is honestly one of those rare anime that became better in its second season.

✨ What impressed me the most was how much the story expanded without becoming confusing. The world-building grew bigger, the mysteries became deeper, and the characters were given the attention they deserved. You could clearly see everyone's character development, especially Will's. I also love that Will remains the true focus of the story. He's determined, hardworking, and never comes across as an annoying or clueless protagonist. Every episode kept me hooked, with no dull moments, and each ending left me wanting more.

⚡ My favorite characters this season were Sion and Zeo—they're both incredibly cool and have such a badass presence. I'm also really curious about Rosty, Finn, Vice Headmaster Cauldron, and Aaron. They all seem to be hiding something, and the deeper the story goes, the more mysterious their characters become. That's one of the things I love most about this series—every answer leads to even more questions.

๐Ÿ˜‚ The finale was both hilarious and an absolute cliffhanger. The stakes are much higher now, and I'm already excited for Season 3. I don't want to read the manga since it's still ongoing—I learned my lesson after catching up with Frieren, and waiting for monthly chapters was pure torture. Although... I might still end up sneaking a peek. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed this season and would definitely recommend it. Here's hoping the anime continues to do the manga justice because the hype is definitely real! ♡

๐Ÿ“– Synopsis:
Will Serfort finally reaches the Tower and steps into a world filled with powerful Magia Vander, hidden conspiracies, and dangerous enemies. As he continues chasing his dream of standing beside Elfaria, he must face difficult choices, stronger opponents, and mysteries that could change the fate of the entire world.

๐ŸŒฟ Kusunoki's Garden of Gods — A Relaxing Slice of Supernatural Life

⭐ Rating: 3/5

Kusunoki's Garden of Gods turned out to be such a wholesome and comforting watch. It's one of those anime that doesn't rely on intense action scenes or heavy drama to keep you entertained. Instead, it focuses on warmth, peaceful moments, and the charming interactions between Minato and the various gods and spirits that slowly become part of his daily life. The entire series carries a relaxing atmosphere that makes it perfect for unwinding after a long day.

One thing I immediately noticed was how quickly everything moved. The anime is surprisingly short, and the story progresses at a fast pace, which left me wishing there were more episodes to spend with the characters and explore the world further. Despite its simple premise, the series creates such a cozy environment that you can't help but want to stay in the Kusunoki residence a little longer.

I also finished the series with quite a few questions still lingering in my mind. There were several characters, lore details, and story elements that felt like they deserved more explanation or development. Hehe. The world of gods and spirits was interesting enough to make me curious, but sometimes it felt like the anime only scratched the surface before moving on to the next wholesome moment.

The animation isn't particularly impressive and definitely isn't the show's strongest point. Compared to many recent fantasy anime, the visuals can feel fairly average at times. Still, that didn't stop me from enjoying the experience. The lovable characters, soothing atmosphere, and endless good vibes more than made up for its shortcomings. Overall, I'd recommend it to fans of cozy supernatural slice-of-life series and anyone looking for a relaxing, feel-good watch. Just don't go in expecting stunning animation or a deeply explored story, and you'll probably have a great time with it. ๐ŸŒฟ✨

๐Ÿ“– Short Synopsis: A young man moves into his family's countryside home, only to discover that it has become a gathering place for gods, spirits, and other supernatural beings, leading to a peaceful and heartwarming new life.

๐ŸงŠ The Ramparts of Ice (Koori no Jouheki)

⭐ Rating: 3/5 ⭐⭐⭐☆☆

๐Ÿค I ended up enjoying The Ramparts of Ice quite a bit, mainly because of how wholesome and genuine it felt. The character development was handled well, and watching the cast slowly grow closer to one another was easily one of the strongest parts of the series. There was a warmth to their interactions that made it easy to keep watching.

๐Ÿ˜ฎ‍๐Ÿ’จ That said, the story does touch on bullying and some uncomfortable social situations. Personally, I tend to avoid stories that revolve around those kinds of themes since they can be more stressful than enjoyable for me. Thankfully, it never completely overshadowed the heart of the series, but it was still something that affected my overall experience.

๐Ÿ€ One character who really stood out to me was Yota. He felt grounded, mature, and refreshingly realistic. What I appreciated most was that he wasn't written as a flawless or idealized character. He had his own struggles and insecurities that felt believable for someone his age, which made him feel much more human and relatable.

✨ My biggest issue was the ending, which left me wanting more. I'm not sure if a second season is planned, but it definitely feels like there's still more story left to tell. Despite feeling a little incomplete, I'd still gladly return for another season if one ever gets announced.

๐Ÿ“ Synopsis:
A heartfelt coming-of-age story about friendship, personal walls, emotional growth, and learning to connect with others despite past hurts.

Witch Hat Atelier

Great World-Building, Frustrating Payoff

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ 3/5

I really wanted to love Witch Hat Atelier. ✨ The world-building is easily one of its strongest points. The magic system feels fresh, unique, and incredibly creative, making every new discovery exciting. The fantasy world is rich with detail, and it constantly gives the impression that there is so much more waiting to be explored.

The characters were enjoyable, and Brushbuddy completely won me over. ๐Ÿ˜‚ In fact, I found myself looking forward to every scene involving that adorable little creature. The cast had good chemistry, and the series did a great job creating a warm, magical atmosphere that made the world feel alive and inviting.

The animation and art style were beautiful throughout the season. ๐ŸŽจ Every frame looked like it came straight out of a storybook, and the attention to detail made the magical setting even more immersive. It is clear that a lot of care went into bringing this world to life, which made me appreciate the adaptation even more.

Unfortunately, my biggest disappointment was how short the season felt. ๐Ÿ˜ญ Just when the story seemed ready to dive into bigger conflicts, mysteries, and character development, it suddenly ended. Rather than feeling like a complete season, it felt more like an introduction to a much larger story. I was left with more questions than answers, and instead of satisfaction, I was mostly frustrated that it ended right when things were finally getting interesting.

Despite my frustrations, I would still recommend Witch Hat Atelier to fantasy fans who enjoy excellent world-building and unique magic systems. However, I would also tell them to keep their expectations in check regarding the payoff. The series has incredible potential and plenty of charm, but for me, it felt like the beginning of something great rather than a complete experience. If you're willing to continue the story beyond the anime, there's definitely a lot here to appreciate. ๐Ÿ“š✨

๐Ÿ“– Synopsis:
Coco has always dreamed of becoming a witch, even though only those born with magical abilities are allowed to practice magic. FRIEREN: BEYOND JOURNEY’S END (S2) — A Quiet Masterpiece That Stays With You ๐ŸŒฟ✨

4.5/5 ๐ŸŒŸ

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is one of those rare shows that actually makes rewatching feel rewarding instead of repetitive. I went back to Season 1 just to prepare for Season 2, and honestly, not a single second felt wasted. Not every anime can hold that kind of attention twice, but Frieren does it effortlessly through its storytelling, atmosphere, and emotional depth. ๐Ÿ“–๐ŸŒ™

At first glance, some people might say Season 2 feels slow or uneventful—but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Instead of forcing constant action, it leans into character development, giving each moment real weight. What makes it stand out is how it doesn’t just focus on the main character. Every member of the cast is given space to grow, making the journey feel richer and more personal. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ซ

You can really see that growth in Frieren, who gradually learns to understand human emotions in a way she never did before. Fern becomes more composed and powerful, carrying herself with quiet confidence ⚔️✨, while Stark steps up with more courage and presence ๐Ÿ›ก️๐Ÿ”ฅ. Watching them evolve naturally over time is one of the most satisfying parts of the series.

The show also balances its emotional weight with lighthearted, almost silly moments that make the characters feel even more real. Then there are the flashbacks with Himmel, Heiter, and Eisen—they’re bittersweet, but they never feel out of place. Instead, they make it seem like those characters are still part of the present, quietly shaping everything that’s happening. ๐Ÿ’”๐ŸŒ„

Even the battles, especially toward the later episodes, are incredibly satisfying. They’re not just visually impressive—they’re thoughtful and strategic, which makes every fight feel earned. And characters like Methode add another layer of excitement, with her versatility and calm strength making her instantly memorable. ⚡๐Ÿง

The only real downside is how short the season feels. Ten episodes just aren’t enough when you’re this invested. Still, the ending leaves you with a sense of anticipation rather than frustration—you know the story isn’t over, and that’s what makes it exciting. ๐ŸŒŒ⏳ Frieren isn’t just another anime; it’s the kind of story you feel grateful to experience at least once in your life. ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŽต The story has only just begun... ๐ŸŽถ

The Northern Plateau is a wild place, teeming with monsters and other dangers—a place Frieren once traveled with her legendary companions now long passed. Now, she finds herself once again following old familiar paths, this time with new friends. But powerful enemies still stand in their way, and a demon lord of exceptional ability may be more than a match for this party of heroes. ๐Ÿ”️⚔️๐Ÿ‘น

✨ 2/5 — The Rising of the Shield Hero: A Frustrating Journey — 25 Episodes of High Blood Pressure

I usually write reviews for only two reasons. First, when an anime is so good that I genuinely want to share it with everyone—the kind of story that makes you say, “You have to watch this.”

Second, when it’s so disappointing that I feel the need to warn people not to waste their time.

Unfortunately, The Rising of the Shield Hero falls closer to the second category for me.

I started this anime right after finishing a really good one, so my expectations were pretty high. Considering how popular it is, I honestly thought I was about to watch something amazing. Instead, most of the season left me feeling more stressed and irritated than entertained.

Episode after episode, I kept getting frustrated. Many of the characters were so annoying that I genuinely felt like slapping half the cast. Even the main character, Naofumi Iwatani, didn’t fully work for me. I understand why he becomes bitter after what happens to him, but the constant negativity and the way the conflicts were handled started to feel exhausting.

And then there’s Malty S. Melromarc. Honestly, she might be one of the most infuriating characters I’ve seen in a while. Every time she appeared, my blood pressure probably went up a little more. ๐Ÿ˜ค

For most of the season, I wasn’t enjoying myself much at all. I kept watching mainly out of curiosity and the hope that the story would eventually improve.

To be fair, the last few episodes were actually enjoyable. That part finally gave a bit of the payoff I had been waiting for. For a moment, it felt like the story was finally moving in a better direction. Unfortunately, it took almost the entire season to get there.

Because of those final episodes, I can’t say the experience was completely terrible. There were glimpses of potential. Still, overall, the journey felt far more frustrating than fun.

In the end, I’m giving it 2/5. The payoff simply wasn’t worth the long and irritating road to get there. And honestly, I don’t think I’ll be continuing the other seasons. ๐Ÿคท‍♂️

๐Ÿ›ก️ Synopsis:

After being falsely accused and betrayed by Malty S. Melromarc, he becomes an outcast and is forced to survive on his own. As the Waves grow closer, Naofumi slowly builds allies and strength while trying to prove his worth in a world that already judged him. ๐ŸŒŠ⚔️

Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! ✨✨✨

I went into this anime with pretty low expectations, and honestly, that might be the best way to watch it. It’s a very straightforward fantasy series that doesn’t try too hard to be complicated or overly dramatic. The pacing is smooth and the episodes are easy to get through. Before I even realized it, I had already watched most of it in one sitting.

What I liked about it is how simple and easy it is to follow. The story doesn’t get buried under too many twists or unnecessary plot points. It sticks to its premise and just lets the journey unfold. Because of that, it feels like a very relaxed watch—perfect for when you just want something light and entertaining without thinking too much.

That said, it’s definitely not the kind of anime that will blow you away. The characters and story are decent, but nothing particularly stands out as memorable. It’s enjoyable while you’re watching it, but once it’s over, it doesn’t really leave a strong impact. I’d say it sits comfortably in the “mid but fun” category.

Overall, it’s a good pick if you’re looking for something quick and easy to finish. If you want an anime that works as a simple time-killer, this one does the job well. Just don’t go in expecting something amazing, and you’ll probably enjoy it for what it is. Hehe ๐Ÿ™‚

Chainsaw Man – Reze Arc (Anime Adaptation) Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)

๐Ÿ”ฅ The Reze Arc is a visual feast—animation that flows like water, fight scenes that hit with explosive energy, and a soundtrack ๐ŸŽถ that syncs perfectly with the chaos. Every clash feels cinematic, and the way the music amplifies the tension makes it unforgettable. It’s the kind of anime moment that reminds you why this series is such a standout.

๐Ÿ’” What makes it refreshing is Denji’s simplicity. He’s not complicated—he just wants affection, and seeing someone show interest in him feels surprisingly human amidst all the madness. That balance between raw emotion and high-octane battles ⚔️ gives the arc its unique rhythm, making it both thrilling and tender at the same time.

✨ Still, the wider cast steals attention too. Aki’s quiet strength, Makima’s mysterious aura, and Angel Devil’s intriguing presence add layers that keep fans hooked. The arc leaves you entertained, a little melancholic, but deeply satisfied—proof that Chainsaw Man isn’t just about devils and fights, but about the fragile beauty of human connection.

Synopsis: Chainsaw Man follows Denji, a young devil hunter who merges with his pet devil to become Chainsaw Man. Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Gift LVL 9999 Unlimited Gacha – 5/5 ⭐

I honestly didn’t expect to finish this in one sitting, but I completely lost track of time. From the very first episode, it pulls you in with strong momentum and never really slows down. Every episode leaves you wanting to click “next,” and before you know it, the season is over. It’s one of those anime that’s dangerously binge-worthy ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ”ฅ

What I loved most is the main character’s presence. He gives off that powerful, commanding vibe similar to other overpowered protagonists in the genre—but the story doesn’t feel lazy about it. There’s growth, intention, and clear development behind the strength. It doesn’t feel like power just for the sake of power. That balance makes everything more satisfying to watch.

The supporting cast is surprisingly engaging too. The characters aren’t just there to fill space—they each add something meaningful to the overall experience. The dynamics, the tension, and the confrontations are handled in a way that keeps things intense without dragging. It leans into darker fantasy elements, but it stays entertaining and gripping throughout ⚔️✨

By the end, I was genuinely excited for more. It’s frustrating (in a good way) that there’s no confirmed Season 2 yet because the story clearly has so much room to expand. I’ll definitely be checking out the light novel and manga while waiting. If you enjoy dark fantasy with strong character presence and satisfying progression, this one is absolutely worth the watch.

๐ŸŽญ Anime Review: Gachiakuta

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐✨ (3.5/5)

“You can't become strong until you know your weakness.”

– Enjin

๐Ÿ”น First Impressions
That line perfectly captures the spirit of Gachiakuta. The anime kicks off with a premise that instantly sparks curiosity: a floating city that discards its waste into a bottomless abyss, where both trash and people are thrown away. It’s a raw, unique backdrop for a story about injustice and survival. The early episodes balance mystery with a sense of struggle, making you want to see how the protagonist will rise against a broken system.

๐Ÿ”น Visuals & Style
The animation is gritty yet stylish, perfectly matching the tone of the series. Fight scenes are fluid enough to stay exciting, and the trash‑ridden setting is captured with creativity. While it doesn’t always hit the same level of polish as other dark fantasy anime, it has a distinct edge that makes it stand out. The soundtrack adds tension, though it’s not the most memorable part of the experience.

๐Ÿ”น Characters & Story Flow
Character development is one of the anime’s strengths. The protagonist’s journey feels relatable, and the supporting cast brings variety—some characters you’ll root for, others you’ll dislike, but all contribute to the unpredictability of the world. The pacing can be uneven, with moments that drag after strong build‑ups, yet the cliffhanger ending leaves you wanting more. It’s the kind of finale that makes you curious enough to check out the manga.

๐Ÿ”น Overall Verdict
At 3.5/5, Gachiakuta is a solid watch. It’s engaging and stylish, with strong character beats, but it’s not flawless. The story could be tighter, and the visuals don’t always reach their peak. Still, it’s worth recommending if you enjoy dark settings with layered characters. By the end, you’ll likely find yourself hooked enough to explore the manga for deeper answers.

“Even in the darkest pit, light can be found if you keep moving forward.”

๐Ÿ“Œ Synopsis
In a society where the privileged discard their waste—and even people—into a vast abyss, a young man from the slums is thrown into this pit of monsters and chaos. There, he discovers new powers, allies, and a chance to fight back against a broken system.

๐ŸŽฌ Tougen Anki ⭐ Rating: 4/5

๐Ÿ“… Watched: February 2026

Thoughts:

✓ Acting (Voice Acting): Solid performances that brought intensity and emotion to the characters, especially during emotional and high-action scenes.

✓ Storyline: From the very first episode, Tougen Anki immediately grabbed my attention. The intense and bloody opening set the tone for the series, and the fight scenes were visually impressive. The animation and action felt powerful, making every battle impactful rather than just chaotic violence.

The characters are another strong point. While the pacing can feel a bit slow at times and there are a few frustrating personalities along the way, the cast remains engaging. My personal favorites are Mudano, Dr. Oiranzaka, and Yodogawa — they’re cool, powerful, and have a strong presence whenever they appear.

What I liked most is that the series doesn’t rely on action alone. As the story progresses, it focuses on character development and the emotional struggles behind the conflict. The narrative shows that the situation isn’t simply black and white, which adds depth and makes the journey more meaningful.

Overall, the series delivers a strong experience. It may not be for everyone, especially if you’re not a fan of brutal and graphic violence, but if you enjoy dark action with emotional weight, this anime is definitely worth watching. I’m looking forward to the next season and also plan to read the ongoing manga.

✓ Cinematography (Animation): Strong visual quality with fluid fight choreography, impactful effects, and a dark atmosphere that perfectly matches the tone of the story.

๐Ÿ“– Synopsis:
Tougen Anki follows the long-standing conflict between the descendants of the Oni and the Momotaro. After a life-changing incident, a young man discovers his hidden identity and is drawn into a dangerous world of power, revenge, and survival, where the line between enemies and allies is not always clear.
