Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris⁣⁣

5/50⁣⁣
⁣⁣
3/5 ✨⁣⁣
⁣⁣
+Uhmmm.. It was infuriating to read. But I'm honestly glad that it was over. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I almost DNF, but since it was my friend's recommendation, I should at least try to finish it.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
+Also, there's a lot of plot holes. The ending was predictable and satisfying. If you like domestic thriller, this book is for you.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
(*❛‿❛)→⁣⁣
+Thank you @awesomereadsfordrei for recommending this book.⁣
⁣⁣
Synopsis:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
+Everyone knows a couple like Jack and Grace.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
+He has looks and wealth, she has charm and elegance. You might not want to like them, but you do. Though, you’d like to get to know Grace better.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
+But it’s difficult, because you realise Jack and Grace are never apart.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
+Some might call this true love. Others might ask why Grace never answers the phone. Or how she can never meet for coffee, even though she doesn’t work. How she can cook such elaborate meals but remain so slim. And why there are bars on one of the bedroom windows.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
+Sometimes, the perfect marriage is the perfect lie.⁣⁣

The Night Sister by Jennifer McMahon

4/50

4/5 ๐ŸŒŸ

❝Some people are made stronger by loss. Others are broken by it.❞

❝Sometimes a lie isn’t what’s said, but what’s unsaid. An omission.❞

A mysterious, dark, and hauntingly beautiful read.

+I enjoyed reading this creepy and mysterious book. It just piqued my curiosity. Very engaging and a page-turner. Since I love The Winter People. I got curious about her other books too.

+Despite the fact that I predicted what will happen, it still surprised me. There's a lot of twists. It's beautifully structured. And you'll feel anxious while you're reading because you want to know what really happened. Or what's in the 29th room? I like that feeling. I was always too eager to know what happened next resulting in keeping reading until I finish it in one sitting. I guess that's what I love about how McMahon writes. It gives you various reasons to continue reading.

+How I wish there's more to Amy's story or history of the monster. At times I feel it's a bit dragging and slow. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it. If you like spooky whodunit stories, complex mystery, and well-written prose, this is for you.

P.S.
If you haven't read The Winter People, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! ๐Ÿ˜Š

The Last Widow ( Will Trent #9 ) by Karin Slaughter⁣

๐Ÿ‘/๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ⁣
๐Ÿ“/๐Ÿ“ ๐ŸŒŸ⁣
+Never a dull moment in Georgia with Karin Slaughter. What a f*cking genius! Couldn't ask for more. I'm still shocked at how well-thought-out, well-researched this book is. A well-written story with an intriguing adrenaline-filled plot with well-developed characters.⁣
+As we all know I've been a fan of Karin's work. Through the years I always enjoyed her books. This book deserves a 5-star rating. I was surprised at how I loved the whole journey. Impossible to put down once you start reading. Even if sometimes it's too much. Brutal AF! Sometimes I need to stop and breathe before I continue to process the situation of the characters.⁣
+It's been a rollercoaster of emotions. I can't even recommend this to everyone. This is not a light read. It needs your attention and it tackles heavy subjects and concepts. There might be a topic that just seems to be too triggering for some people. Nevertheless, I still think that you need to give it a try. Even Karin's standalone books. It will be worth it. Or you can start with my favorite series Karin Slaughter Grant County Series Reading Order Checklist.⁣
WARNING TRIGGERS: Rape, pedophilia, and lots of violence.⁣

Si by Bob Ong

2/50⁣
3.5/5 ✨⁣
At nag enjoy ako.⁣
Masaya ako dahil kumpleto na ang aking koleksyon ng mga libro ni Sir Bob Ong. ♥⁣
